Random tables and maps that do the preparation for you: roll an NPC, stock a shop with SRD prices, hand out loot and magic items, fill an encounter to the right XP budget, draw a world map or a dungeon on a 5-foot grid, and turn your own art into tokens. Every random result has a seed in the link, so you can share it or roll again.

Seeded, printable and free

Each generator shows its seed. Copy the link and anyone who opens it sees the same result; press Roll again for a new one. Items, prices and monsters come from the SRD 5.2.1. The random tables for personalities, rooms and treasure amounts are our own and are labelled as such. None of the generators make up names.

Maps and tokens

The fantasy map generator draws a world for a campaign, the dungeon generator draws a keyed dungeon on a 5-foot grid, and the token maker turns your own pictures into round tokens for a virtual tabletop. Everything is made in your browser; pictures you choose are never uploaded.

Which generator should I use?

Need a name? The DnD name generator names characters by species and the town name generator names hamlets, villages, towns and cities. Need a person for the party to meet? Use the NPC generator. Need somewhere for them to shop? The shop generator stocks a store, and the city generator builds the whole town. For a fight on the road, roll the random encounter generator; for a hook, the quest generator; for treasure afterwards, the loot generator or the magic item generator.
